Doug grew up in Golden, Colorado. At a young age he developed a passion for the outdoors; completing Ride the Rockies at the age of 10 and exploring the rugged landscape out the back door. His background in Architecture has provided him with an eye for detail, passion for providing viable solutions, and the ability to work through complex tasks. Doug is a NABCEP certified PV Installation Professional and PV System Inspector. When he’s not working, Doug is happiest camping with his family, riding his bike, or obsessing on his latest project.

Mantra: “Take pride in everything you do”

Jonathan is a jack of all trades and got his start in renewable energy in the wind industry. Working on remote job-sites taught him the importance of being prepared and doing the job right the first time. Jonathan transitioned to solar in 2007 and was responsible for overseeing multiple installations crews and quality assurance. As his experience grew, so did his qualifications. Jonathan is a licensed Master electrician and is a NABCEP PV Installation Professional. When he's not tinkering with one of his many projects, you can find him biking with his wife and exploring in their camper.

Doug Claxton, CEO & Co-Owner

Co-Founder of TSR, Doug has his roots in Golden, Colorado. He developed his love for the outdoors at a young age, spending countless hours adventuring the west coast. His background in Architecture has provided him with an eye for detail, passion for providing viable solutions, and the ability to work through complex, multi-faceted tasks. When he’s not in the office, Doug is on his bike attempting to keep up with Jonathan…which is proven impossible.

Jonathan is a jack-of-all-trades. There isn’t much that he can’t do, which makes him the perfect co-founder. Originally from Austin, TX, takes pride in his trek across the west. After the Coast Guard, Jonathan worked in the wind industry and construction. Working on remote job sites has taught him the importance of always being prepped. When he's not tinkering, you can find him doing all the classic Colorado activities (climbing, mountain biking, you get the idea).
